This article covers asking for a refund of your eFit registration fee, what to do before you file a dispute with PayPal or your bank, and what happens when an eFit account is deleted.
When refunds are given
Refunds of the registration fee are given during the first half of the semester, counted from your course's start and end dates.
How to ask for a refund
- Open a Help Desk ticket.
- Say that you would like a refund, and include the email address on your receipt or the date you paid.
- Staff process the refund through the service you paid with, PayPal or your card.
Ask us before you file a dispute
A dispute with PayPal or your bank starts their own review, and that takes longer than a ticket. A ticket reaches the people who can issue the refund directly, so please start there.
Deleting your eFit account
You can ask for your eFit account to be deleted through a Help Desk ticket. Deletion is permanent: staff remove the account together with the activity and grades recorded in eFit, and none of it can be restored afterwards.
Talk to your instructor before you ask, because your course grade may depend on the work recorded in eFit.
To ask for the Google Health data eFit has stored to be deleted, see the eFit privacy policy.
