eFit builds you a personal training plan, walks you through each session, and keeps a record of what you lifted so you can see the progression. It lives under Workouts in the sidebar, which holds Today's Workout, My Progress and Exercise Library.
Today's Workout
Open Workouts > Today's Workout. If you do not have a plan yet, eFit creates one in under a minute from a few answers about your goal, your experience and the equipment you can reach. No gym is required; there are bodyweight and minimal-equipment options throughout.
Once a plan exists, this page shows your next session by name, for example Week 1, Day 1: Chest, Shoulders, Triceps, with an estimated length and the exercises in order. Open it and log each set as you finish it, with the weight and the reps. Logging as you go is what makes the progress charts meaningful.
If an exercise does not suit you, swap it. eFit offers alternatives that train the same muscles with whatever equipment you have.
My Progress
Open Workouts > My Progress for what your training actually did:
- Sets per week, so you can see whether your volume is holding steady.
- Top set for a chosen exercise, which is the clearest single view of getting stronger.
- Recent workouts, a dated list of what you did with the best set from each.
Your week streak and your sessions-this-week counter sit at the top of Today's Workout.
Exercise Library
Open Workouts > Exercise Library to browse every movement eFit knows, grouped by the muscles it trains. Use it to look up form before you try something new, or to find a substitute for an exercise you cannot do. You can add your own exercises as well, up to fifty.
Workouts, eFit Minutes and your grade
These are separate systems and it is worth keeping them straight.
- Your activity grade comes from steps and active minutes your tracker records, inside your tracking window. See Your Activity Tracking Window.
- eFit Minutes are earned by sustained effort your tracker measures. A workout you perform raises your heart rate, so your tracker records it and it counts that way. See What Are eFit Minutes.
- Logging a set in the planner feeds badges and streaks.
Wearing your tracker while you train is what connects the two, because that is how the effort reaches your grade.
If your instructor assigned the plan
Some courses assign a training plan. When yours did, the page says so at the top, and your syllabus is the authority on what is actually required of you. Anything you log beyond the assigned work is yours, and it counts toward badges and streaks in the usual way.
